Steering pulling to one side, uneven tire wear, or a vibration at highway speed usually means your wheels are out of alignment — not a suspension failure. Radman Auto Repair provides full four-wheel alignment service for all makes and models, including Tesla, using precision alignment equipment to bring your vehicle back to manufacturer specification.
What Wheel Alignment Actually Does
Wheel alignment adjusts the angles of your wheels — camber, caster, and toe — so they meet the road exactly as the manufacturer designed. When these angles drift out of specification, tires wear unevenly, the vehicle pulls or wanders, and fuel economy can suffer. Alignment does not adjust the suspension itself; it corrects the geometry of components that are otherwise functioning normally. If a suspension component is worn or damaged, an alignment alone will not fix a pull or vibration — that's why Radman inspects suspension and steering components before performing an alignment, not after.
Signs You Need a Wheel Alignment
Car Pulling to One Side
On a flat, straight road when you're not steering — the classic alignment symptom.
Off-Centre Steering Wheel
Steering wheel isn't straight when driving straight ahead.
Uneven or Rapid Tire Wear
Wear concentrated on the inside or outside edge of the tread.
Steering Wheel Vibration
At highway speed — though this can also point to a tire balance or suspension issue. See FAQ below.
Squealing Tires on Turns
Often a sign of camber or toe out of specification.
Recent Pothole or Curb Impact
Or new tire installation — both common triggers for GTA drivers to check alignment.
How Much Does Wheel Alignment Cost?
A standard four-wheel alignment at Radman Auto Repair typically costs [$XX–$XX] — note to shop owner: replace with your current posted price before publishing. The exact price can depend on whether your vehicle needs a two-wheel or four-wheel alignment, and whether worn suspension components need to be addressed first — a worn tie rod or ball joint will prevent an alignment from holding, so we'll flag that before proceeding rather than aligning a vehicle that will just drift out again in a few weeks.

How Often Should You Get an Alignment?
Most manufacturers recommend checking alignment every 20,000–40,000 km, or roughly once a year for typical GTA driving. Toronto and Etobicoke conditions — potholes on Rexdale Blvd and Dixon Road, curb strikes in tight parking situations, and winter freeze-thaw pavement damage — knock vehicles out of alignment faster than manufacturer intervals assume. We recommend having alignment checked any time you get new tires, after a pothole or curb impact, or if you notice any of the symptoms above.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a wheel alignment cost?
A four-wheel alignment at Radman Auto Repair typically costs [$XX–$XX], depending on your vehicle and whether any suspension components need attention first. Call (416) 742-4521 for an exact quote.
My steering wheel shakes at highway speed — is that an alignment problem?
Not necessarily. Steering wheel vibration at speed is more often caused by an out-of-balance tire or a suspension component issue than by alignment alone. A pull to one side while driving straight is more typically an alignment symptom. Radman inspects both during a visit so you're not paying for an alignment that won't fix a balance problem, or vice versa.
Do I need an alignment every time I get new tires?
Not strictly every time, but it's the best time to check. New tires make uneven wear from a bad alignment more noticeable, and starting with correct alignment means your new tires wear evenly and last as long as they should.
Can a bad alignment damage my tires?
Yes. Driving on misaligned wheels causes uneven, accelerated tire wear — sometimes noticeably shortening tire life within a few thousand kilometres. Left unaddressed, it also makes the vehicle harder to control precisely, especially in wet or winter conditions.
Does Radman align Teslas and other EVs?
Yes. Tesla Model 3, Y, S, and X (and other EV/hybrid models) all require alignment service, and heavier EV curb weight can make alignment drift and tire wear more noticeable than on comparable gas vehicles.
